Learning About Authority

Last week we kicked off our new 50s theme "Breakfast with the Butterworths" and it was SO much fun! We haven't laughed that hard in a long time :) Our new teaching is based on John Bevere's book Under Cover and we'll focus on what the Bible says about authority. Believing we will never treat our parents, teachers, pastors and other authorities the same again after this teaching!

Key Verse: "Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God." - Romans 13:1 (NLT)

Soediv Esrever ... did you figure it out?? ... Reverse Videos! We will be watching some really cool videos in reverse in Kid City and we need your ideas! Here are some of the ideas we heard today: ripping paper, karate chopping a board, spitting water or pouring water into someone's mouth & popping a water balloon.
